HomeWhiz applies the latest security industry standards, ensuring information security and data protection when you use our smart home app. The secure HomeWhiz servers ensure access to your smart appliances is subject to strict authorisation checks. Our mobile app and the network card used by the appliances are both certified by VDE.

Best Practice User Mark
After being announced as the inaugural IoT Security Champion Award winner in 2018, we also used the latest IoT Security Compliance Framework and associated guidance documentation provided by the IoT Security Foundation (IoTSF), so we are also now able to use the Best Practice User Mark.
Vulnerability Disclosure
Arcelik takes security issues extremely seriously and welcomes feedback from security researchers in order to improve the security of its products and services. We operate a policy of coordinated disclosure for dealing with reports of security vulnerabilities and issues.
To privately report a suspected security issue to us, please send an email to security alert@homewhiz.com, giving as much detail as you can. We will respond to you as soon as possible. If the suspected security issue is confirmed, we will then come back to you with an estimate of how long the issue will take to fix. Once the fix is available, we will notify you and recognise your efforts on this page.
